MY SCHOOL TEACHING DIARIES-DAY 8
5/3/2021 FRIDAY
Today was my last day of school teaching session. My emotion was happy on one side while sad on the other.I was happy happy because I had successfully completed my 15 school teaching classes. Meanwhile ,parting with my dear students made me sad as well.
My class began with an initial free interaction which was followed by revision of previous portion which was further followed by teaching them about the reaction of metals with acids as well.Initialy,I discussed about the buttermilk which is never stored in an aluminium container from which I reached the idea that metals react with acids to produce metal salts and hydrogen gas.I demonstrated the experiment of reaction of magnesium with sulphuric acid and zinc with dil.HCL..Children could identify the presence of hydrogen from a pop sound
The next half of my class began at 6:00 pm during which I taught them about alloys and corrosion. With the help of picture slides and experimental videos ,I could clearly convey the idea of rusting which is in turn called as corrosion. I ended up the class through asking questions to recall all what is learnt and finally conducted an achievement test from the chapter "Force" based on what was taught in the previous classes.
Overall ,I enjoyed my online teaching sessions as I received good response from the students' side and also their support throughout. It provided me with an enriching experience.
