MY SCHOOL TEACHING DIARIES-DAY 4

           Today, my class began at 7:00 pm .I took the initial ten minutes to brush up all the previously learned concepts from the chapter "Force". I believe this was quite useful for the students to get a whole idea about the chapter before moving on to a yet another new portion, that is; thrust and pressure, liquid pressure. For the first half hour, I only focused on teaching the concept of thrust, its SI unit and pressure as well. I demonstrated two videos based on which  the students could easily grasp the idea of thrust and pressure. Also, I relied on few real life examples to depict what is actually meant by thrust and pressure and moreover, their differences as well.

          The second half of my class focused on liquid pressure for which I chose four activities .Most of the activities included video presentations related to liquid pressure. I could discuss about the pressure exerted by the liquid in detail. Overall, the class provided me with good experience as the students' quick responses were very helpful.
