MY PEER TEACHING DIARIES-DAY9

    Today,My class began at 11:00am .I taught "photochemical reactions" from chemical changes.I began the lesson by attempting to trigger students' interest and curiosity by talking about plants and  their growth.In this lesson,I chose to teach the process of photosynthesis with the help of  an animation video.Photochemical reaction was taught to them with the exposure of silver bromide to sunlight.Later,I also taught about Bioluminiscence with the help of an animation video of fireflies.In this lesson, I was successful in enriching the students' knowledge with the involve of science in various naturally occuring phenomena.

   Later,I began my class at 2:30 pm in the afternoon at which I taught about electrochemical reaction.Through several experimental videos,I taught endoergic and exoergic reactions.I also chose to draw the diagrammatic representation on blackboard to explain the concepts.Also by discussing about electrolytes,electrolysis and cells,I winded up the lesson with a follow up activity to explore more electrochemical reactions.Overall,the class was good and satisfactory.
