MY PEER TEACHING DIARIES-DAY2

4/2/2021                                                                                                                             THURSDAY

Today's class began by 9:40 am.Today's first class was handled by Amala teacher. However,my class began a 3:05pm.Today,I taught about Joule's law .I began the class by recalling the concepts learned in previous class and then went on to derive the equation for Joule's law. That is, H (heat) developed in a conductor when current passes through it is directly proportional to the square of electric current(I) , resistance (R) and time of flow of current (t).Through assigning them to do an activity to find the change in heat developed when dependent quantities are varied by different fractions,I was able to teach them which of the three factors affected the heat more. After asking questions to what was taught today,I moved on to give them a follow up activity after which I concluded the lesson.
There were some network issues in between avoiding which,I felt satisfied with my class.I was confident with the topic and was able to clear their doubts. Also,I was  able to motivate the students throughout the class through reinforcement.
