MY PEER TEACHING DIARIES-DAY 7

   From today on my on wards,I chose to teach chemistry as I finished with my physics portions.I chose "chemical changes" from 8th std. chemistry portion.My class was arranged at 11:30 am. I began my class almost around 11:40 am in which I taught about the "physical and chemical changes",which is the introductory part .I began the class by asking children whether they have observed changes happening around them from which I asked them to differentiate between permanent and temporary changes.The class developed as I played few videos of permanent and chemical changes along with few chemical reactions which finally helped them to understand that permanent changes would lead to the formation of new products whereas temporary changes do not.I concluded the lesson by summing up the basic concepts regarding physical and chemical changes .Students responded well to the questions.I ended  the lesson by assigning the students with a follow up activity

   The class was overall good and satisfactory.Real life examples added to the clarity in understanding the concept.Moreover,I felt confident with the subject matter as well as to handle the class
